The Forge
Refined by Purpose. Fueled by Calling.
The Forge is Catalyst Bible College’s hands-on ministry and leadership development experience- and it is a core requirement for all Church Leadership majors. This program exists to intentionally shape, stretch, and strengthen students for real-world ministry through Practicum-based training, mentorship, and spiritual formation.
Students in The Forge are considered the leadership of the school. As such, they are held to a higher standard of spiritual maturity, character, and conduct, both on and off campus. Forge students are expected to lead by example- in classrooms, chapels, ministries, and relationships- as visible representatives of Catalyst’s mission.
A Letter from The President
Dear Student,
At Catalyst, we don’t just believe in preparing you for ministry- we believe in refining you for it. That’s why we created The Forge Team. The Forge isn’t just a Practicum. It’s a process. It’s where your calling is sharpened, your character is tested, and your leadership is shaped in the fire of real responsibility. It’s where you learn to lead with excellence, serve with humility, and walk in the Spirit. If you’re ready to grow, to be challenged, and to step into your God-given potential- The Forge is where it begins. We’re honored to walk this journey with you.
In Christ,
Dr. Mark Merrill
President, Catalyst Bible College
